Blackberry 9650 Essex

The predecessor (Blackberry Tour) is available from Verizon and Sprint, but for the upgraded version of Tour who will launch it 1st? Or will it favor an exclusivity to just one carrier? If you have been searching the net lately for this gadget you have have come across this phone with the Sprint logo on it, just like the one this picture on the left has. So is it really true that Sprint has Blackberry Essex on its line of smartphones available to their clients by 2010? I saw some websites stating that this news spreading around is indeed true, Sprint will launch Blackberry 9650 Essex by 2010 this time with Wi-Fi. The predecessor of this smartphone is Blackberry Tour (no Wi-Fi unfortunately) but the spokesperson from Sprint claimed that they are working on all Blackberry phones (to be equipped with Wi-Fi). Blackberry Tour is with Verizon and Sprint, and with the news leaking that there would be a Tour2 (Blackberry Essex) everyone has been talking about it in forums and blog posts! Of course there will always be comparison of the two, The predecessor has a trackball while the new one has a trackpad, (which i believe is far better right?) So why is Blackberry launching a new phone with almost the same features as the old one? Well not really an old one but I guess RIM (Research In Motion) has heard a lot of flaws from the 1st Tour, so they decided to clean their name and work on the flaws of Blackberry Tour. That is why a Blackberry Essex is now invading the gadget websites like a virus, everybody is talking about it, and everybody wants to know what improvements has been made (were the flaws has been really paid attention to?) Blackberry Essex small This Blackberry tour will be flaunting new features such as Wi-Fi and a trackpad (as I have mentioned earlier). It will also be sporting roaming capabilities (Blackberry will go global, that’s pretty cool right?) plus a 3.2 megapixel camera to take nice pictures where ever! I have heard that it will be equipped with orientation sensor this device helps eliminate typical errors while taking pictures. As of the moment we can only wait when will this phone be launched, so while we are all waiting just watch out for more news and leaked info about this breath taking gadget (will it really be breath taking?) Hopefully this time we can expect something flawless from RIM.

Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530

New Blackberry Cell Phones, New Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 cell smartphone photos. The Sprint Curve 8530 is an optical trackpad and support WiFi. The God-awful “royal purple” colour detracts from the beauty of the phone. I bet Sprint is hoping that it can lure women. So the Curve strategy seems to be working. Not really feeling the purple. I guess some will like it, but not for me. It goes to show how mainstream blackberries have come though, as purple doesn’t exactly shout professionalism. I hope the retail price is low. TheSprint BlackBerry Curve 8530 cell phone will be available on November 20 2009 for $99.99 on contract after rebate.

BlackBerry Curve 9300

The BlackBerry Curve 9300 (or BlackBerry Curve 3G) is the QWERTY-keyed counterpart to the BlackBerry Pearl 3G and is a straight upgrade to the BlackBerry Curve 8520. Not only does the Curve add 3G (but apparently not HSDPA), but it also adds GPS, the new BlackBerry 6 operating system and 802.11n support to the existing WiFi interface. The feature set makes the previous generation Curve look quite primitive.. which in reality it was. Until now, if you wanted 3G in a full-size BlackBerry then your choice was basically something quite expensive like the BlackBerry Bold 9700, which retails for about €460 SIM-free. The existing Curve 8520 retails for about €230, or roughly half the price of the 9700, and RIM must be hoping to pitch the new 9300 at around €300 or so at launch. Of course, most handsets will be bought from carriers and have a subsidy which will mask most of the price difference. BlackBerry have been making 3G phones since 2006, so really it's a surprise to see that they were still bothering with GSM-only handsets like the old 8520 at all. If you consider that the Nokia C3 is perfectly capable of meeting basic messaging demands and yet retails for only €120 then it's clear that RIM needed to do something to be a bit more competitive. We covered the BlackBerry 6 OS briefly when we looked at the BlackBerry Torch, and although it is a better experience than the previous version, it isn't really going to appeal to anyone except existing BlackBerry users. When it comes to using the phone, one limiting factor will be the fairly basic (although very sharp) 2.4" 240 x 320 pixel non-touch display. BlackBerry Curve 9300 (Curve 3G) On the back is a very basic 2 megapixel camera which does at least support video recording. There's a multimedia player and 3.5mm audio socket, and the Curve 9300 supports microSD expandable memory and Bluetooth. The integrated GPS also includes BlackBerry maps and turn-by-turn navigation, although the small screen does not really lend itself well to satellite navigation. Because this is a BlackBerry then messaging support is first-rate, and it will make a useful option for corporate customers who are already running BlackBerry handhelds in their business. The fairly large 1150 mAh battery gives a quoted 5.5 hours talktime on 3G (surprisingly only 4.5 hours is quoted for GSM), and 14.5 days standby on 3G and 19 days on GSM. It's a fairly standard BlackBerry size at 109 x 60 x 14mm, but it is relatively lightweight at 104 grams. If you have an old Curve, then the 9300 is almost definitely worth an upgrade. However, we really feel that this is what the 8520 SHOULD have been when it was launched. Alternatively, BlackBerry customers might find that the BlackBerry Torch 9800 is more to their liking, or perhaps the rumoured upcoming BlackBerry 9760 clamshell phone. The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 should be available on a number of networks (including T-Mobile) from August onwards.

BlackBerry Style 9670

The BlackBerry Style 9670’s screen is larger than the 9650, some people like flip phones, actually lots of people do. The flip form factor still has its advantages. zukidrvr  says: “The Style 9670 cell phone feels great in your hand. It has perfect balance and is really easy to type on. The screen looks great, even in direct sunlight. “lower-than-optimal resolution.. ” I don’t have a clue what you are talking about. The screen specs are almost identical to the Bold and Tour. This is a $99 device, not a super gadget. I’ve heard that 70 percent of phone users prefer a flip design. That looks like a pretty big demographic to go after. I’ll bet many of them want a great browser, push email and social networking. It’s got the capabilities of the Torch, for half the price – on a terrific network that includes unlimited everything for one price. ”The BlackBerry Style 9670 cell phone has a 460 x 400 internal display, and a 240 x 320 external display, 5 megapixel camera, optical trackpad for navigation, WiFi, A-GPS, an 8 GB microSD memory card is included in the sales package. It running BlackBerry OS 6 OS. I don’t know if OS 6 and a 5MP camera is enough to save this model. And yeah it’s exclusive on Sprint as of now, big red doesn’t like to share.

BlackBerry Bold 9780

BlackBerry Bold 9780 will land on T-Mobile USA on November 17. Although RIM has
covered the specs of BlackBerry Bold 9780, from the pictures we can see that it  looks similar to BlackBerry Bold 9700. Actually it’s the successor to BlackBerry Bold
9700 with the latest BlackBerry OS 6. It also packs a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.44-inch
display, 624MHz processor, 5MP camera with LED flash, auto focus and digital zoom, 3G, WiFi
and Bluetooth 2.1. If you are a BlackBerry fans and like the candy bar form factor of 9700,
I strongly recommend the 9780 to you as the handset design is much identical to the 9700 except
for its new system. So how many of your BlackBerry fans are going
to pick up BlackBerry Bold 9780 and experience the latest BlackBerry 6 OS?

Nokia N73 Special Edition

The 'N73 Special Edition' in the Middle East and North Africa. The phone was released during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan in 2007. The phone has the same hardware as the other editions of the N73 but comes pre-loaded with Islamic applications and the phone is completely white. Nokia also released N73 Special Edition in Indonesia without pre-loaded Islamic applications.

Nokia N73 Internet Edition

The 'N73 Internet Edition' was essentially the Music Edition, but retaining the 'multimedia button' function, rather than a dedicated 'music button'. The 'N73 Internet Edition' is not available in the Middle East and North Africa.

Nokia n73 Music Edition

N73 'Music Edition'. It has technically the same hardware as the N73, but the 'multimedia button' on the keypad has been replaced with a button that starts the music player. The Music Edition also includes a 2GB memory card and the phone is completely black. The Music player on the Music Edition supports Album art and visualisations, while that on the regular N73 does not. It also has an improved control interface where 'play', 'pause', 'stop', 'next' and 'previous' may all be selected directly by simply pushing the phone joystick in the appropriate direction rather than having to scroll through on-screen buttons for these controls and then select them as on the ordinary N73. The Music Player application stays in the background at all time (even when music is not being played) in the Music Edition of N73. In the latest firmware versions this application can be terminated, but doing so prevents from using the Music Edition remote control to start listening to music, until the application is started again by using the phone's keypad.

nokia n73 specifications

The Nokia N73 is a smartphone by Nokia officially described as a "multimedia computer". In common with other Nokia 'Nseries.phones of its time (late 2006), the N73 comes loaded with many software applications, including contacts, messaging, picture and video galleries, a music player, a Visual FM Radio, RealPlayer, an IM client, a WAP browser, a full web browser based on KHTML/WebKit, a Microsoft Office document viewer, a PDF viewer, an Adobe Flash Lite viewer and some games. The majority of these applications support background execution; for example, one may listen to music while browsing the Internet, and then may switch to write a text message or e-mail, without having to close any applications.
